Pasta salad with chicken and broccoli

INGREDIENTS:

  • Orzo pasta in the shape of rice (glass - before cooked)
  • Chicken fillet 2 approx. 500 g
  • Broccoli 500 g
  • Medium-sized red pepper
  • Fresh, medium-sized cucumber
  • Red onion (optional)
  • Canned corn
  • A bunch of dill
  • Garlic 1-2 cloves
  • Mayonnaise 2 tablespoons
  • Natural yogurt or cream 2 tablespoons
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • Gyros seasoning - a full spoon or your favorite spices
  • for chicken
  • Frying oil





Preparation:

Divide the broccoli into florets, cook in boiling salted water for 5 minutes.  After this time, place in a colander and pour cold water over it.  (This will keep the broccoli nice and green).

Cook the pasta according to the instructions on packaging.

Cut the chicken fillet into cubes and season.

Fry in a small amount of oil.

Cut the cucumber, onion and pepper into cubes.  chop dill.  Drain the corn.

Pour all the ingredients into a bowl: Broccoli (I divide it into smaller florets, fried chicken fillet, cooked pasta, corn, cucumber, onion and pepper. In a separate bowl, prepare the sauce with yogurt, mayonnaise, dill and a clove of garlic pressed through a press.  Mix everything together a then season with salt and pepper. Pour the prepared sauce over the salad and mix. Place in the refrigerator for at least an hour. Enjoy!
